Welcome to Animal Emergency Care of Braselton where you can expect our team of dedicated and trained veterinarians to quickly assess your pet and provide the lifesaving care he or she needs. Our Braselton veterinarians understand that pet emergencies happen at all times. That’s why we are open from 6p.m. until 8a.m. Monday through Friday and 24 hours over the weekend.

Our veterinarians and staff members understand the urgency, frustration and fear you experience when your pet becomes suddenly sick or injured because we are also pet parents. Our pets are a part of our families, and you can rest assured that we will treat your pet like a part of our own family while he or she is in our care.
Emergencies We Treat:
Our animal hospital has an on-site radiology lab to quickly perform x-rays. Our diagnostics laboratory is designed to quickly test your pet’s blood, urine and stool, looking for illnesses, infections and parasitic infestations. Our veterinarians can provide your pet with oxygen support and ECG monitoring. If it is determined that your pet needs surgery, we offer pet-safe anesthesia and monitoring throughout your pet’s surgery and during recovery.
Bloat – a condition where a dog’s stomach twists, cutting off blood flow and/or preventing blood from leaving the abdomen. This ailment can be life-threatening if not treated.
Broken Bones – Our veterinarians can set your pet’s broken bones so that he or she has the best possible chance at making a full recovery.
C-Sections – For cats and dogs that are struggling to give birth or where a puppy or kitten has become lodged in the vaginal canal.
Deep Cut and Wound Repair – Surgical closure of large wounds due to accidents or fights with other animals.
Exploratory Surgeries – For animals suffering from abdominal pain or tenderness. This is an exploratory surgery that looks for injuries and illnesses in the abdominal cavity.
Foreign Object Removal – For accidental ingestion of pet toys and other objects that are stuck in the stomach or blocking the intestines.
Internal/External Bleeding – Surgeries and medications to stop excessive bleeding from illness or injury.
Eye Traumas – Surgery to correct eye injuries or excessive pressure behind the eye.
Uterine Infections – During heat, some dogs and cats can develop infections if the uterine lining does not shed properly.
